Weeks 1 – 4
* Do TT Body Sculpting for Women workout 3 days/week
* Perform at least 30 minutes of light activity on off days (Yoga)
* Eat 1400 calories per day and track meals in Calorie King (I will try to bump this up to 1700 as I progress)
* Drink 8 glasses of water/day
* Get enough rest (7-8 hrs/night)
My jaw is still healing but I believe the Body Sculpting for Women program is safe for the challenge. My plan is to go light with the weights starting off and gradually build up as I feel comfortable. The hardest part of this challenge will be eating at least 1400 calories per day on a soft food diet. I’m used to eating < 1200 so this will be a big change for me. I know I can do it though - I just need to plan my meals ahead of time. I'm addicted to watching the numbers on the scale so seeing the weight go up may freak me a bit at first but I know if my foods are clean and I'm working hard that the muscle will come and the fat will go. I may need a reminder on this from time to time though so feel free to help me out if I panic.
I plan on taking my starting photos later this afternoon when I get home from work. Not really looking forward to that. I probably won’t post them on here until the end of the challenge. My body has lost a lot of muscle since having my jaw surgery back in June but I know it will come back with hard work. I knew my exercise regimen would have to go on hold when I decided to proceed with my orthodontic treatment so I’m not really complaining. It was just another step in creating the new me.
I haven’t given up during this entire process and now that I’m almost fully healed I’m looking forward to getting back to old yet ‘new’ business. All is well.
Looking forward to this challenge and getting great results! I will also be taking part in the 4 week Twitter challenge too.
My nickname on there is kimblebee so feel free to add me!
